Aaron Soosay
CFO
My name is Aaron Soosay. I am the founder of Canine Cakes and I’m in Year 10. I am a 15 yr old entrepreneur who is passionate about business. The idea of Canine Cakes started when my dog Coco turned 1 and we couldn’t find any cakes or treats for her. Canine Cakes was born! I’m an introvert who likes playing many different sports including Basketball
and Soccer.
F.A.I.L – First Attempt in Learning. That is something that I have learnt in life, that we should not give up. I have learnt that tough times never last but tough people do.
From the age of 10, I have been working in Flemington Markets, Sydney with my family and as such, I have developed and learned about the deeper understanding of how and what it takes to run a business. Since then I have learnt that in order to run a successful business you need determination and patience, you need to be able to get back up when you have been knocked down.

Hi! My name is Shanzay Zubair, and I am the C.O.O of Canine Cakes. I am currently in year 8 and come from a regional area in NSW called Tamworth. As a person who loves baking and dogs, Canine Cakes is a perfect business venture for me!
Surprisingly I don’t have a dog! instead, I have 4 cockatiels, 2 rabbits and 3 Guinea Pigs, and I love them all, no matter how long it takes to clip their nails.
Animals have a very special place in my heart. And as everyone knows “Dogs are a man’s best friend.”
It’s my goal to make every treat day for every dog unforgettable, and that’s why we have created Canine Cakes.
I have a passion for running a business as it runs in my blood.
At this age I feel that starting as young entrepreneur will help me develop skills to open a gateway in future life. I may not be able to drive, but I want to thank my parents who drive me all over town, to the point where we became regular customers at our local petrol stations.
In conclusion “Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts”-Winston Churchill, this quote is something I remember everyday, which reminds me that with passion you can accomplish anything.
And that’s why Canine Cakes is a not only a business, it’s my passion, it is something that I am very proud to be a part of!
